Darajat where:
Islamic teachings are studied to convey a way of life and wisdom for living.
Our Story
Darajat began as a program in 2017 in collaboration with a local community center, under the leadership of the future founders of the Darajat organization. The first cohort included 31 women and was offered exclusively in Arabic. What made the program unique was its commitment to providing opportunities for many adults and youth seeking authentic Islamic knowledge and training. It filled a vital gap by making structured, accessible Islamic education available to those who might not have otherwise had the chance.
What made Darajat even more compelling was the continuous and renewed effort by its leadership to break down the barriers that had long prevented men and women from accessing the essential religious knowledge they were seeking. Whether those barriers were financial constraints, geographic limitations, scheduling conflicts, or any other obstacle, the administration remained committed to making learning accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the real needs of the community.

Our Goal
To pave the shortest and most accessible path to the noblest and highest form of knowledge. We are an educational and progressive institution aspiring to prepare an educated, aware, and confident generation—one that translates knowledge and awareness into responsible citizenship.
